Com-Block Gun Porn!

I am finally back home and able to post some content. While I was out, Say Uncle put out a call for more Gun Porn. Here is my humble contribution to the cause of giving everyone something cool to look at at work- after carefully checking to make sure none of the office liberals have a direct line of sight to your screen.

Here we have a 1954 built CZ-52 in the great, but under appreciated, chambering of 7.62x25. This little screamer of a bottleneck handgun round spits out an 80something grain .30 caliber bullet at somewhere near 1400 feet per second. It is LOUD, has a beach ball sized muzzle flash, and turns heads at the range.
BOOM!

This gun likely saw service along the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. The CZ-52 is what the Czechoslovakian army used while the rest of the Com-Block used Makarov and Tokarev pistols.

Anyway, here are more pics:

This is a fun and cheap gun to shoot. You ought to get one. Or two.

  1. I really like the artistry in this gun. It has that streamlined, 1950s space age look to it!

  2. I know! Very artistic lines, and the bakelite grips just accentuate the '50s heritage.

It is surprisingly ergonomic for that age of gun as well.

  3. I love the era that seems to just be built into the gun.
