Why Liberals love Choo-Choo Trains

George Will knocks this one out of the park on why liberals and 'Progressives' love trains and hate the fact that we are in personally owned cars and trucks.

This really reflects on our own local retards Austin city council and the unexplained hard-on that they have for screwing up our few functioning roads and putting trolleys, 'Urban Rail' and light rail on or across them. They hate the fact that we aren't good little sheep just getting onto trains at the prescribed time and place.

    You do realize that highways and airlines are subsidized by the government? Subsidized competition was what caused the private passenger train industry to die off in the US during the 60s and 70s.
