I plan on taking a deer using this gun in the coming season as a memorial to my friend and fellow moderator, Dan Johnson. Dan was a passionate handgun hunter and writer, and I have never taken a deer with a handgun. I feel this will be a fitting tribute.

"New Port Richey, Florida - Residents of a Pasco County neighborhood say they're living in fear and frustration because of a violent neighbor who they feel has a drinking problem.
They say 52-year-old Dale McDaniel has chased neighbors down with a chainsaw and even assaulted a disabled man confined to a wheelchair by slapping him in the face with a fish."
So... Happy Monday. Just be happy no drunk is slapping you with fish.

This includes the line:
"A Dutch team created a piece of "bulletproof" skin from special, U.S.-made spider silk and human skin cells and found that it indeed can repel bullets -- as long as they're not traveling too fast."
Hell, with that qualifier, I have some bulletproof notebook paper to sell you.
Neo: “What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge bullets?"
Morpheus: “No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to.… I mean, as long as they aren’t moving too fast.”
Morpheus: "You are good to go for a slingshot... Well, one of the Wal-Mart special slingshots, not something that Jorge Sprave makes and posts on YouTube.... best just stick with the little wooden pioneer jobbers. Don't go getting crazy with wrist braces and ball bearings. Those things can mess you up."

This is my wife's favorite pizza. It is a blatant attempt at recreating a great pizza from a local restaurant/ Italian Market called Mandola's Italian Market.
First off, you need a dough. I am still in the experementation phase for pizza dough, and have not settled on a recipe yet. So feel free to use your own, or even a pre-made dough. I won't judge.
Here is Alton Brown's thin crust recipe. I have never had a 'bad ' recipe from Alton, so I trust that it will turn out OK.
Once you have a thin crust dough, get it as flat as you can. Throw some corn meal on your peel, and lay the pizza 'skin' on the corn meal. (If you don't have a Peel, get one. They are pretty cheap if you shop at restaurant supply places) Lightly oil the top of the skin with good olive oil, and then cover the skin with slices of provalone and fresh mozzarella . Slide it onto your pizza stone on the grill (or in the oven... or if you have $8000 plus shipping: one of these puppies ). Cook the pizza till it's 'done'
lemon vinaigrette, and shave some Parmesan cheese on top.
Slice and eat.
Takes some time, but it is totally worth the effort.

I was able to run to the local indoor range for 20 minutes. Bought 100 rounds of S&B 9mm, borrowed eyes and ears at the range and started loading mags.
No jams, no malfunctions. One instance of the slide slamming forward as a fresh mag was inserted, and one time of the slide not locking back- but my offhand thumb might have interfered with the lockback.
Empty brass. A MUCH better way to enjoy lunch.
The testing continues. I will not carry this again until I get at least 400 trouble free rounds through it. I do believe that this gun is worth the work. 16 rounds of hyper accurate 9mm carried C&L in a package roughly the same size as a Glock 19, yet handles better than a Glock to me. Not that I dislike Glocks, but I like this gun better- and it's controls match the 1911 and CZ-75 which is where all my training lies.
